NAB AM Radio Toolkit

NAB has garnered overwhelming support from Congress for AM radio, but time is running out for Congress to act.

At the end of this year, Congress will adjourn and a new Congress will be sworn in January 2025. We must pass this bill in the coming weeks before the process starts all over again.

There is overwhelming support in Congress for keeping AM radio in automobiles – more than 300 members of Congress are cosponsoring the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act.

Whether or not this bill passes now rests with Senate Majority Leader Schumer and Minority Leader McConnell, Speaker Johnson, House Majority Leader Scalise and Minority Leader Jeffries.

We need your listeners to text AM to 52886 and ask your members of Congress to call on House and Senate leadership to get this bill to the floor – it has the support to pass. Please air these new spots as often as possible between now and the end of August. Reach out to us at WeAreBroadcasters@nab.org for further information.
