WASHINGTON, DC – NAB President and CEO David K. Rehr responded in a letter today to members of the Wireless Innovation Alliance regarding the group's recent claim that NAB has engaged in a "misinformation campaign" regarding the introduction of unlicensed personal-portable devices that would operate in broadcast spectrum.

In July, a report by the FCC concluded that sample prototype "white space" devices did not accurately detect broadcast signals and caused interference to TV broadcasting and wireless microphones.
