Susan Larkin Appointed to NAB Radio Board of Directors

Washington D.C. – Susan Larkin, chief operating officer of Audacy, has been appointed to the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) Radio Board of Directors by Radio Board Chair Collin Jones in accordance with NAB bylaws. The appointment is effective immediately.

Larkin leads Audacy’s portfolio of markets, revenue and content teams, overseeing the company’s extensive audio platform, which includes broadcasting, podcasting, digital, network, live events, music, sports and news. A seasoned radio executive with more than 30 years of experience, prior to her COO appointment, she served as regional president for Audacy’s San Francisco and Sacramento markets and market manager for New York.

Before joining Audacy (then Entercom) in 2017, Larkin was regional vice president at Cox Media Group, where she managed radio clusters in Orlando and Jacksonville as well as overseeing national sales teams. Her career also includes leadership roles at ABC-Disney Radio as well as national and local sales management positions in Columbus, Tampa and Syracuse.

Larkin is a board member of the Radio Advertising Bureau and has served on the boards of the Florida Association of Broadcasters and Ronald McDonald House Charities. She has been recognized among Radio Ink’s “Most Influential Women in Radio” and “40 Most Powerful” lists. She holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Larkin assumes the board seat previously held by David Field.
