Media Technologies for Military and Government Conference Brings Video Into Focus at 2016 NAB Show

-- Lieutenant General Raymond Palumbo to Serve as Keynote --

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- The Media Technologies for Military and Government Conference at the 2016 NAB Show this year will focus on the challenges faced by government and industry, identify solutions for those challenges and examine future opportunities. The conference is scheduled for Monday, April 18 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and is produced by NAB Technology.

Geared toward military and government acquisitions and production personnel, satellite and broadband providers, commercial manufacturers and R&D technologists, Media Technologies for Military and Government offers the opportunity for professionals from the government and commercial sectors to discuss needs and solutions based on cutting-edge broadcast technologies.

Founding member and senior partner of Venturi Solutions, LLC and former Director of Defense Intelligence for the U.S. Army Lieutenant General Raymond Palumbo will provide a keynote, addressing the technical and leadership skills that veterans bring to industry. The conference concludes with a special session on recruiting and retaining veteran employees, titled “Beyond Intent: How to Successfully Recruit and Retain Veteran Employees”.

“Many Veterans leaving the service are trained in technologies that are the core businesses of NAB Show exhibiting companies. Networking, video and advanced communications and media distribution technologies are used in today’s military service,” said NAB Vice President of Technology John Marino. “Veterans with these skills can be valuable assets to companies.”
