The National Association of Broadcasters Presents "TV on Wall Street"

New One-day Forum in NYC to Focus on Television Business Financials

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Association of Broadcasters announced today it will present "TV on Wall Street," a one-day forum designed for media executives, investors and analysts focusing on the financial state of the television ecosystem. The event will take place October 29 at the Metropolitan Pavilion in New York in conjunction with NewBay Media's inaugural NYC Television Week.

"We plan to gather top-level executives for a deep dive into the financial aspects of the television business," said NAB President and CEO Gordon Smith. "This new forum is a great way to get Wall Street's take on content competition and how new consumer consumption trends are driving the evolution of television and shifting the paradigm for profit."

Chief executives, venture capitalists and leading financial analysts will discuss tactics to grow value through inventive programming, targeted investments across a myriad of media, financial forecast models, audience trend analysis and new technology. The day-long event will also deliver Wall Street's perspective on the impact of the Federal Communications Commission's spectrum incentive auction, station acquisitions and industry consolidation.
