Washington, D.C.—NAB Show New York 2026 opens Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Javits Center, bringing together leaders from broadcasting, sports, streaming, technology and the creator economy for two days focused on the business of media and the tools shaping its future.
The East Coast marketplace for media innovation will feature some 250 participating companies, including at least 37 first-time exhibitors, more than 150 speakers and attendees from about 100 countries. More than 40 show floor sessions and 60-plus additional educational sessions examine media investment, sports economics, audience growth, emerging revenue models and practical applications of artificial intelligence.
“Sometimes the most valuable industry opportunities are right in your own backyard,” said Karen Chupka, executive vice president, Global Connections and Events at NAB. “We want people to leave with more than a view of what’s changing. They should understand where businesses are finding growth, which technologies can help them work smarter and who they need to connect with to move forward.”
Media Investment, Sports and Local Television Lead Day 1
Wednesday’s programming puts major media business decisions under the spotlight. Wall Street analyst Jessica Reif Ehrlich, J.P. Morgan media and communications executive Eric Menell and investment executive Aaron Sobel will examine consolidation and the battle for scale in a discussion moderated by journalist Alex Sherman. Sports sessions feature FanDuel President Christian Genetski, New York Islanders co-owner Jon Ledecky and sports commentator Clay Travis in conversation with NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt.
The Local TV Strategies conference will tackle new revenue, streaming, artificial intelligence and the 2027 advertising outlook, with executives from leading station groups. The SMPTE ST 2110 IP Media Roadshow will offer technical training on modern media networking.
Creators, Streaming and Applied AI Drive Day 2
Thursday’s program looks at how creators are building sustainable enterprises and how streaming platforms are adapting to new audience expectations. Entrepreneur Michael Kassan, media executive Jarret Myer and “Love Island USA” personality Chelley Bissainthe will examine how creators turn audiences and original intellectual property into lasting business value.
Other sessions feature NASA+ General Manager Rebecca Sirmons on the future of streaming and technology leaders on practical newsroom AI. AES@NAB New York returns with professional audio programming.
Technology to See, Compare and Put to Work
Across four show floor theaters and hands-on demonstrations, attendees can compare solutions spanning production, cloud, streaming, AI, audio and infrastructure. Participating companies include Sony Electronics, Canon U.S.A., Blackmagic Design, Grass Valley, Ross Video, B&H, Amazon Web Services and Dell Technologies. About one-quarter of participating companies are based outside the United States.
Reflecting the purchasing influence of the event, 80% of 2025 attendees were buyers and 62% were first-time attendees. Post|Production World runs Oct. 20–21, the Career Fair takes place both show days and the NAB Marconi Radio Awards will honor radio excellence Oct. 20 at the Edison Ballroom.
