WASHINGTON, DC -- NAB President and CEO David K. Rehr recently sent this letter to newly appointed National Football League Commissioner Roger Goodell urging him to reverse the "poorly thought out" and "discriminating" policy that bans local television camera crews from the sidelines of NFL games.
"With the start of the NFL season upon us, we ask that you reconsider this ban, and quickly repair the crucial link between NFL teams and their communities that local broadcasters provide," Rehr wrote.
