WASHINGTON, D.C. – In response to the FCC approving an order eliminating the requirement that broadcast stations routinely file paper copies of contracts and other documents with the Commission, the following statement can be attributed to NAB Executive Vice President of Communications Dennis Wharton:
“NAB appreciates the Commission’s continued efforts to modernize outdated regulatory burdens on local TV and radio stations. Eliminating the paper filing requirement is a common-sense update to broadcast regulations.”
