Recruiter Registration Now Open for NABEF's 2018 Media Sales Institute

-- Registration deadline is Wednesday, May 16 --

WASHINGTON, D.C.-- Recruiter registration for the NAB Education Foundation’s (NABEF) Media Sales Institute (MSI) is now open. MSI is an intensive 7-day program that trains recent college graduates for careers in media sales and connects participants with broadcast industry recruiters to set them on the path to employment. The 2018 MSI will be held at the National Association of Broadcasters headquarters in Washington, D.C., May 30-June 6. Recruiters from radio and television stations and groups are invited to attend June 5-6 and will have the opportunity to observe program participants in sales presentations to local clients, conduct one-on-one interviews and earn Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) credit for their respective companies. The deadline to register as a recruiter is May 16.

“Recruiters will have direct access to a pool of motivated and informed entry level sales talent,” said NABEF President Marcellus Alexander. “Through the NABEF MSI, these future sellers are trained by professionals and industry leaders to succeed in radio, television and digital sales.”

The program’s curriculum is designed to reflect current industry trends and provide participants with the tools they need to become multi-platform account executives in the broadcast industry. Marketing efforts to recruit sales talent nationwide will be supported by NABEF MSI partnering institutions: Howard University, Florida A&M University and Arizona State University.

Interested companies can register here at no cost. For additional information, contact Melony Hughes.
