WASHINGTON, D.C. – Tribune Media Chief Operating Officer of Broadcasting Kathy Clements has been appointed to the NAB TV Board of Directors by Television Board Chairman Brian Lawlor effective immediately, NAB announced today. Clements fills the Fox Affiliate Board seat.
Clements joined Tribune Media in January 2014 and oversees operations of the company’s portfolio of 42 owned or operated television stations. She has served on the CBS and ABC affiliate boards and currently serves on the Fox affiliate board.
Prior to joining Tribune, Clements had been SVP/Media Operations for Belo Corporation from 2008-2013 overseeing the company’s broadcast and digital businesses in 15 markets across the country. She had direct oversight of nine television stations, all of their associated media platforms and was also the group programming lead. In addition, she oversaw news content, digital and social initiatives.
Clements is a graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.
