NABEF 2012 Leadership Development Program Open

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Association of Broadcasters Education Foundation (NABEF) announced today the return of the Leadership Development Program. The program will be held October 25-28, 2012 at NAB Headquarters in Washington, D.C. The program targets broadcast professionals with three to seven years experience considered to be rising stars in their field.

Attendees will participate in constructive peer and professional assessments. Session topics include navigating corporate culture, leveraging talents and work style, leading others for optimal performance and team-building.

"Participants learn how to navigate challenges in the broadcast industry, approach new responsibilities and effectively lead others," said NABEF President Marcellus Alexander. "NABEF is pleased to present this opportunity to broadcasters in the early stages of their careers."

The Leadership Development Program is part of NABEF's career continuum to provide quality education for broadcasters at every career level. The foundation also continues to focus on increased diversity in broadcasting and celebrates broadcasters' community service efforts at the annual Service to America awards.
