WASHINGTON, DC -- NAB Radio Board Chair Don Benson has appointed Patrick Walsh, chief operating officer, chief financial officer and director at Emmis Communications, to the NAB Radio Board of Directors. Walsh is filling the unexpired term for the designated Board seat held by Marc Morgan who recently resigned.
In his role as COO, Walsh leads Indianapolis-based Emmis Communications' domestic radio division comprising 20 large market radio stations. Walsh also provides oversight and support to the international radio station group and city/regional magazine publishing operations.
Prior to joining Emmis in 2006, Walsh was senior vice president and chief financial officer at iBiquity Digital Corporation in Columbia, MD.
