NBC Affiliate Board to Meet at 2009 NAB Show

WASHINGTON, DC – The NBC Affiliate Board of Directors has agreed to hold its board meeting in conjunction with the 2009 NAB Show, NAB Show organizers announced today. The 16-member board is just one of a number of high-level broadcast executive groups currently considering holding meetings at the NAB Show, which runs April 18-23 in Las Vegas.

"The NAB Show provides the perfect platform for broadcast leaders to meet on important issues impacting our business," said NBC Affiliate Board Chairman Michael Fiorile, vice chairman and CEO, Columbus-based The Dispatch Broadcast Group. "Additionally, the wide array of exhibiting companies at the NAB Show gives broadcasters an unparalleled opportunity to experience the advancements in technology, network with our colleagues, and acquire the tools to enhance our services.""We're delighted to serve as host for the NBC Affiliate Board of Directors meeting," said Chris Brown, NAB Executive Vice President of Conventions and Business Operations.
