WASHINGTON, DC The National Association of Broadcasters has partnered with the Department of Justice and the Internet Keep Safe Coalition, and will distribute public service announcements (PSAs) promoting online safety for children, NAB announced today. The PSAs, titled "Project Safe Childhood," will be distributed on Friday, November 21 by NAB to local television broadcasters in an effort to raise Internet safety awareness among children.
"NAB is proud to work with the Department of Justice and the Internet Keep Safe Coalition to promote the health and safety of our nation's children," said NAB Executive Vice President Dennis Wharton. "We encourage all television stations to participate in this worthy initiative by airing these public service announcements as much as possible."
