WASHINGTON, DC David K. Rehr, president and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters, released the following statement today upon learning of Tim Russert's untimely death.
"Tim Russert was one of the most trusted and credible journalists in the history of broadcast news, delivering balanced and authoritative political reporting to millions of viewers. The broadcast community has lost a reporter who epitomized excellence, and we mourn NBC and the Russert family's loss. Our Sunday mornings will never be the same."
