WASHINGTON, DC - Shen Tong, founder and president of the digital content delivery company VFinity, will keynote the "Social Networking in the 21st Century" Super Session at NAB2007 in Las Vegas on April 17.
The session will highlight the marketing potential of social networking sites, and the opportunities available for these networks to expand to a larger audience. The rapid success of video portals and the survival strategies necessary to avoid over-commercialization will also be examined, with suggestions from the panel about how brands can be built and marketed around social networking opportunities.

Shen Tong founded VFinity to establish an efficient tool for managing and delivering digital content. As president, he continues to provide innovation solutions for management and distribution of all digital types. Prior to VFinity, Shen Tong's professions included consultant and strategic planner for Fortune 100 companies, television director and producer, publisher and social educator. In the mid-1990s, Shen Tong directed a broadcast production company that produced China's top-rated television show. His partnership with ABC News magazine 'Day One' to produce two China-related documentaries also earned international praise, and was shown both in France and Germany.

1989, Shen Tong was named one of the "People of the Year" by
Newsweek. His best-selling book, Almost a Revolution, has
been on the market for over a decade, and remains part of numerous educational
curriculums as an exceptional account of China's student revolution.
