Brett Goldstein to Discuss Creative Process Behind Award-Winning Content on NAB Show Main Stage

Multihyphenate creative to offer insight into producing hit projects

Washington, D.C. -- Award-winning actor, writer and producer Brett Goldstein will take NAB Show into his process in creating compelling content that resonates with audiences and that has made him one of Hollywood's most sought-after multihyphenates in a fireside chat on April 17 at 4:00 p.m. on the Main Stage of the 2023 NAB Show in Las Vegas, Nev.

During the session, open to all NAB Show attendees, Goldstein will discuss the challenges he faces in creating critically acclaimed and commercially successful content. He will draw on his multifaceted background to offer insight into what it takes to grab audiences' attention in a world of near-unlimited platforms, channels and programming.

Goldstein is the co-executive producer, writer, and star of the Peabody-winning Apple TV+ series, "Ted Lasso," which has earned 40 Emmy Award nominations and 11 wins in its first two seasons and recently premiered its third season. Goldstein has received numerous accolades for his performance as the brash yet lovable aging footballer Roy Kent, including two Primetime Emmy Awards and a Critics Choice Award. He has additionally won two WGA Awards as part of the show's writing team.

Alongside Jason Segel and Bill Lawrence, Goldstein is the creator and executive producer of the hit Apple TV+ series, "Shrinking," which was recently renewed for a second season. He previously created and executive produced the AMC limited anthology series "Soulmates" with Will Bridges.

Goldstein also produces and hosts the iHeartRadio award-winning podcast, "Films to Be Buried With," which finds him in candid conversations with special guests as they discuss the films that have shaped their lives.

"Whether it is his scene-stealing performances, his masterful influence on hit TV shows or his comedic wit on the stage and on-the-air, Brett Goldstein knows how to connect with audiences," said Chris Brown, NAB executive vice president and managing director, Global Connections and Events. "NAB Show attendees will greatly benefit from this must-attend conversation into how he creates content that stands out, captures our attention and entertains millions."
