NAB Education Foundation Develops Next Generation of Broadcast Leaders

More than two decades ago, the NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) was created with the mission of preparing broadcast leaders at every level of their careers and advancing the diversity efforts of the broadcasting industry. This mission continues to be at the forefront of the foundation. The foundation's leadership and management programs give broadcasters, whether they are rising stars or senior level executives, the tools and training they need to succeed in this ever-changing media space.

In its 18th year, the foundation's Broadcast Leadership Training program continued to prepare talented senior-level broadcast executives who aspire to advance as group executives or station owners and improve the diversity profile of broadcast media ownership. In 2017, 19 executives graduated bringing the total number of broadcast professionals who have completed the program to 289.
