When the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) built their new 118,000 square foot headquarters in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C., they were looking to do something special with its design.
As the premier organization representing America's television and radio broadcasters, NAB wanted its home to showcase the latest broadcast technologies.
As part of that goal, NAB collaborated with industry leaders, award-winning creative designers and talented engineers to build NAB Studio – a state-of-the-art broadcast production center.
Led by Emmy-winning producer Michael Khatcheressian, hundreds of projects are created at the studio each year for the organization's advocacy, education and innovation efforts.
NAB Studio is used to produce national television spots, interactive webcasts and branded educational content. Productions include compelling digital stories for NAB's renowned trade shows and high-profile award programs. The studio is also used for production of NAB's Congressional PSA Campaign and the NAB Leadership Foundation’s Celebration of Service to America Awards.
NAB has also made its production center available to outside organizations and companies, giving groups the opportunity to rent the studio and create content using the same cutting-edge equipment as major market television and radio stations. From robotic cameras to LED lighting and a 28-foot curved video wall, NAB Studio allows for unlimited creativity.
