A Conversation with Alvin Toffler

Iconic author Alvin Toffler was the feature of Wednesday's general session at the NAB Show. Toffler and his wife Heidi, co-authors of "Future Shock," provided attendees with an in-depth conversation about the future of broadcasting and the impact technology has on broadcasters. For decades, Alvin Toffler has been one of the world’s most influential voices on the shape of the future. He has created several lasting thought paradigms that we now take for granted and he is routinely ranked among the world's top advisors to management and to governments.

With the publication of their seminal work, "Future Shock," the Tofflers created an all-new discipline around the study of change and its impact on business and culture. Since "Future Shock," the Tofflers have written one significant book after another, notably "The Third Wave," "Powershift" and "War and Anti-War." The Tofflers ask questions no one else has thought of and then answer them by fundamentally redefining things, as they have done in their most recent book, "Revolutionary Wealth."
