NAB Digital Radio Committee Meets to Discuss Transition to Digital Radio

The NAB Digital Radio Committee convened in Washington, D.C., on January 16 for a briefing by NAB staff and a committee discussion on the latest regulatory and technical developments relating to the transition to digital radio. At this meeting the group was also given a tour of the WHUR-FM HD Radio Demonstration van, courtesy of Committee member Jim Watkins, general manager, WHUR-FM, Washington, D.C. Chaired by NAB Radio Board member Rolland (Rollie) Johnson, chairman and CEO, Three Eagles Communications, this Committee meets on an as-needed basis and reports to the NAB Board of Directors on important developments or makes recommendations for board action on matters relating to digital radio.
