2. 2024 Celebration of Service to America Awards Winners Announced
The NAB Leadership Foundation has announced the recipients of the 2024 Celebration of Service to America Awards, which recognize outstanding service to their communities by local television and radio stations.
Winners will be honored at the awards ceremony on June 4, 2024, at The Anthem in Washington, D.C.
3. Remind Congress You Support AM Radio
The AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act would ensure Americans who depend on AM radio each month for news, entertainment and critical safety information can continue to have access to this reliable communications medium.
Despite AM radio’s continued popularity, some automakers have begun discontinuing the feature in new vehicles.
Take action:Urge Congress to pass legislation to keep AM radio in vehicles.
4. ICYMI: Election Toolkit Now Available
NAB's 2024 Election Toolkit provides you with ideas and resources to help increase voter registration, education and turnout.
With an increased focus on fighting misinformation and intentional disinformation, the toolkit provides tips on fact-checking and identifying false information online, as well as examples of broadcasters’ work in action.
It also offers broadcast-ready television and radio spots in English and Spanish, produced in partnership with the League of Women Voters’ Vote411.org, to encourage voter participation.
Don't forget to send examples of your fact-checking projects and voter education public service to WeAreBroadcasters@nab.org so we can feature them on our social channels.
5. Hispanic Media Coalition GOTV Toolkit Now Available
The Hispanic Media GOTV Coalition, a first of its kind effort focused on voter registration and turnout in the Hispanic community, has launched its toolkit for media companies. 
What is it? With broadcast-ready spots in Spanish and English, scripts, research and data, a speaker’s bureau and more, this toolkit provides resources and ideas for coalition members to educate and energize Hispanic voters.
The coalition’s member organizations are welcome to submit resources to the toolkit, which will continue to grow until Election Day.
