The Hispanic Media GOTV Coalition, a first of its kind effort focused on voter registration and turnout in the Hispanic community, has launched its toolkit for media companies.
What is it? With broadcast-ready spots in Spanish and English, scripts, research and data, a speaker’s bureau and more, this toolkit provides resources and ideas for coalition members to educate and energize Hispanic voters.
The coalition’s member organizations are welcome to submit resources to the toolkit, which will continue to grow until Election Day.
Get involved: You can access the toolkit here, or learn more about becoming a member of the coalition here.
2. Broadcasters Fight Misinformation and Foster Unity

Go deeper: On the NAB Blog, NAB President and CEO Curtis LeGeyt looks at how Baltimore-area stations informed and supported their community as this tragedy unfolded.
3. AI, Sports and Content Creation Added to NAB’s Diversity Symposium Lineup
The symposium is open to all attendees, including broadcasters, media production professionals, content creators, AI enthusiasts, technology professionals, storytellers, students and diversity, equity and inclusion advocates.
5. TV Stations: Be Aware of Potential BAS Interference
The FCC recently expanded unlicensed operation, including Wi-Fi-6E, in the 6 GHz spectrum band: 5.925-7.125 GHz. Portions of this band are used by television broadcasters for Studio-Transmitter Links (STLs), ENG and other broadcast auxiliary service (BAS) applications.
NAB has expressed concern that these unlicensed operations could degrade or interfere with licensed BAS activities.
NAB urges stations with 6 GHz equipment to fully document the performance of those systems (record signal levels, margin to failure, error rates, etc.) so that degradation or interference can more easily be detected.
Stations that have actually experienced interference in the 6 GHz band that could be attributable to unlicensed devices should report that interference to the SBE at BASinterference@sbe.org.
All radio frequency interference to broadcast facilities should be promptly reported to the FCC using its enterprise reporting portal.
