1. NAB Announces New Hispanic Media GOTV Coalition
NAB, along with Hispanic media groups and organizations, has announced a first of its kind coalition focused on get out the vote (GOTV) efforts for the Hispanic community.
🗳️ The nonpartisan coalition consisting of 13 organizations is dedicated to increasing voter registration and voter turnout in the Hispanic community for the 2024 national elections.
Participating media groups and organizations include Bustos Media, Entravision Communications, Epluribus LLC – creators of MOXY, Estrella Media, La Red Hispana, LatinEQUIS, Latino Media Network, Lazer Media, Meruelo Media, National Association of Broadcasters, Telemundo, Poderistas and TelevisaUnivision.

📧 Your participation in this campaign has led to listeners sending more than 376,000 emails and 47,000 tweets to Congress.

3. 2024 Crystal Radio Awards Finalists Announced
Finalists for the 2024 NAB Crystal Radio Awards have been announced. Winners will be announced during the We Are Broadcasters ceremony that takes place on the Main Stage at NAB Show, April 16 at 9:30 a.m. PST.
Hubbard Broadcasting’s KSTP-FM, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Minn., will receive an esteemed Crystal Heritage Award during the ceremony. The Heritage Award recognizes radio stations that have won a total of five Crystal Radio Awards for exceptional year-round community service efforts.
4. Get Your Celebration of Service to America Awards Entry in Now
The Celebration of Service to America Awards honor excellence in community service philanthropy and the impact made by local television and radio stations across the country.
Earlier this week, WJLA-TV Community and Public Relations Director Bonnie Wood (center) gave NAB Senior Vice President of Public Affairs Jen Jose and NAB Senior Vice President of State, Board and International Relations Sue Keenom a tour of the Sinclair station’s new studio in Arlington, Va.
