Christina Hartman is head of news standards overseeing editorial standards as a steward of the reputation and editorial independence of the Scripps Networks division's news brands. Her responsibilities include actively ensuring a culture of inclusivity that supports civil, open exchange of ideas — leading to strong editorial coverage of the diversity of the human experience. In her prior role as vice president of Scripps News, Christina led Scripp News' newsrooms to Society of Professional Journalists’ (SPJ) Sigma Chi Delta, Online News Association, Cynopsis and national Edward R. Murrow awards. Prior to Scripps News, she worked in production on CNN's "State of the Union" and "Reliable Sources."
