Aaron Katersky is ABC News’ award-winning senior investigative reporter and correspondent. His reporting can be heard on ABC News Radio and seen across all ABC News platforms, including “Good Morning America,” “World News Tonight,” “Nightline,” “20/20” and “ABC News Live.”
His voice has become synonymous with some of the most important domestic and international breaking news events in recent history. As ABC News Radio’s special events anchor, Katersky has led the network’s coverage of everything from mass shootings and hurricanes to royal weddings and the election of presidents since 2004.
Katersky’s war zone assignments began in Iraq in 2003 when he embedded with the Marines. He’s since made numerous trips to Baghdad and Afghanistan and has been on the front lines covering conflict between Israel and the Palestinians. In his nearly two decades with ABC News, Katersky has reported everywhere from Tahrir Square for the historic Arab Spring to Rome for the selection of Pope Benedict and the beatification of Pope John Paul II.
Closer to home, Katersky has been ABC News Radio’s leading voice for political coverage, anchoring from conventions, debates and inaugurations. He has covered the elections of George W. Bush, Barack Obama and Donald Trump, the Mueller report and the Trump impeachment hearings.
Katersky’s deep sourcing in the law enforcement and legal communities has helped ABC News break numerous stories about terrorism, Harvey Weinstein and the college admissions cheating scheme.
He is the recipient of numerous Edward R. Murrow awards and Emmy awards. Katersky lives in New York with his wife and daughter.
Steven Portnoy

With more than two decades of experience reporting from Washington, D.C., Steven Portnoy is one of America’s preeminent audio storytellers and has brought listeners to presidential inaugurations, congressional debates, State of the Union addresses and Supreme Court oral arguments. A past president of the White House Correspondents’ Association, Portnoy spent seven years covering the Obama, Trump and Biden administrations from the second row of the White House briefing room.
Portnoy returned to ABC News — where he began his career – in 2023 after more than eight years at CBS News, where he served as a congressional correspondent before reporting from the White House.
At CBS, Portnoy was part of the team that broke the news of the prisoner swap that resulted in WNBA player Brittney Griner’s safe return. He also covered the criminal trials involving former President Trump. In the spring of 2023, Portnoy reported extensively on the murder of a legendary broadcaster for the three-hour network CBS radio documentary, “Who Killed George Polk?”
Portnoy has vast experience covering national politics, having reported for ABC through the 2008 and 2012 presidential elections and for CBS in 2016 and 2020. His reporting has won both networks Edward R. Murrow awards for breaking news, continuing coverage and overall excellence.
Portnoy is an accomplished live broadcaster. He was on the air for more than eight hours on January 6, anchoring CBS News Radio’s award-winning live coverage of the insurrection at the U.S. Capitol. He served as CBS News Radio’s election night anchor in 2020. He anchored ABC Radio’s coverage of the death of Osama bin Laden in 2011. Portnoy first joined ABC in 2002 as an intern for the White House unit of “World News Tonight with Peter Jennings.” A year later, he joined ABC-owned station WMAL-AM in Washington, where he reported on local news. In 2006, Portnoy joined ABC News as a correspondent.
In 2008, Portnoy was named a Peter Jennings Fellow by the National Constitution Center. He was honored with the Bayliss Horizon Award by the John Bayliss Broadcast Foundation in 2005, and took first place in the radio competition at the Hearst Broadcast News Championships in 2001.
While he was a student at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Portnoy produced television newscasts at WIXT-TV (now WSYR-TV) and WSTM-TV and reported for WSYR-AM.
He lives in Washington with his husband, Ryan.

Rickey Smiley is a legendary comedian, actor, author, television host and award-winning radio host of the top-rated, nationally syndicated “The Rickey Smiley Morning Show.” Smiley won the Marconi Award for Network/Syndicated Person of the Year in both 2017 and 2021.
A comedian for more than 30 years, the Alabama native is constantly performing across the country on his own theater tour and makes special appearances on the REAL TALK Comedy Tour, as well as the Martin Lawrence-hosted LIT AF Tour. His tours often include a live band, which he accompanies as an accomplished pianist and organist, and some of his fan-favorite characters, such as “Mrs. Bernice Jenkins,” “Lil’ Daryl,” “Joe Willie,” and “Beauford.” Smiley starred in the stand-up specials “Rickey Smiley: Open Casket Sharp” and “Comedy Central Presents: Rickey Smiley,” and released eight bestselling albums, including the No. 1 comedy album “Rickey Smiley: Prank Calls 6.” On the big screen, he has been featured in urban movie classics “All About The Benjamins,” “Friday After Next” and “Baggage Claim.”
John Foxx
Co-host, “Foxx & Annie in the Morning,” WCBS FM
John Foxx, a native New Yorker, boasts a 25-year career in radio, spanning multiple formats and top markets. He made his mark as program director and afternoon drive host at the legendary WPLJ New York, followed by his role as brand manager of WNSH New York. Foxx's radio journey began at WSPK K104 in the Hudson Valley and he has since led programming efforts in Albany, Colorado Springs, Dallas and Houston. He also served as regional vice president for Country Music at Audacy, further expanding his influence in the industry.
In 2023, Foxx made his return to the airwaves as morning show host and brand manager of the iconic WCBS FM, continuing his legacy in New York radio.

Anne Marie “Annie” Leamy has been hosting morning radio in the tristate area for close to 20 years and hopes to bring joy, information and genuine connection to listeners’ morning routines. Leamy is currently co-host on “Foxx & Annie in the Morning” on 101.1 CBSFM and she has a passion for supporting small businesses and local nonprofits through storytelling. She resides in the Hudson Valley with her husband, Sean, and three sons.
