Known for his vivid yet simplistic description of on-the-field play, Scully called more than 25 World Series, 12 All-Star Games and countless historic moments in baseball.

In addition to his many accolades, Scully received the Voice of Vision award in 1992 for his ability to paint vivid word pictures for blind baseball fans. He has his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and has been hailed as the number-one sportscaster of all time by the American Sportscasters Association.
