FIRST STAR OF TV


Milton Berle made his radio debut with Rudy Vallee in 1928. He starred in “The Gillette Community Sing,” “Stop Me If You’re Heard This One” and “The Milton Berle Show.” In 1948, he became the industry’s first TV giant when he launched the “Texaco Star Theatre” and “Uncle Miltie” became a national institution.
