Jerry Lewis began his television career as a comic. An accomplished actor and writer, he contributed to many episodic series and specials. Every Labor Day weekend, he took to the airwaves to raise money on the Muscular Dystrophy Association Telethons, seen on the Love Network of more than 200 television stations.
