Garry Marshall was one of our most influential writers, producers, authors, actors and directors. He created “Happy Days,” “Laverne and Shirley” and “Mork and Mindy,” wrote for “The Tonight Show Featuring Jack Parr,” “The Dick Van Dyke Show” and “The Lucy Show” and directed “Nothing in Common,” “Pretty Woman,” “Beaches” and “Runaway Bride.”
