Jim and Marian Jordan, who started in radio in the 1920s, became Fibber McGee and Molly in 1935. For over 20 years they delighted listeners with vaudeville patter, Fibber’s tall tales, familiar gags such as the opening of the hall closet and skits built around their friends and neighbors.
