Premiering in 1971, CBS’ “All in the Family” was a landmark television comedy that for nine seasons explored new ground with one of the most beloved families in television history, the Bunkers. Created and produced by Norman Lear, it starred Carrol O’Connor (Archie Bunker), Jean Stapleton (Edith Bunker), Sally Struthers (Gloria Bunker Stivic) and Rob Reiner (Mike Stivic).
