Global Connections and Events

The Global Connections and Events (GCE) department is the business engine of the association. Its focus is on creating vibrant marketplaces as well as programs and services that deliver substantial direct value to the broadcast and wider media and entertainment sector. In doing so, GCE generates net revenue to power NAB’s mission to secure a thriving future for America’s broadcasters of today and tomorrow. Through major events like NAB Show and NAB Show New York; NAB Amplify, a year-round digital hub for the media industry; as well as community-centric events and programs, the goal is to create meaningful connections that educate, spur innovation, facilitate partnerships and drive growth for the industry at large. The department’s broader objective is to evolve a suite of services, leveraging the NAB Show brand, that position NAB as the primary global resource for the entire content ecosystem.
