Stories and Perspectives

Crashing the NAB Show

In April of 1970 myself, the owner of WJOB Radio (Hammond Indiana) and one of the disk jockeys (Tony Ruggiro) managed to sneak into the convention at the Chicago Hilton. At that time I had purchased Sony's first portable video recorder and was just getting into working in the TV industry. It was my first adventure in broadcast TV. Today, I am the owner of a 4K flight Package (WWW.4K2GO.TV). I have worked 12 years of Indy Car and over 193 concert shows. I owe my career to that first gate crashing experience at the NAB Convention :)
