I'm pretty sure my boyfriend has a crush on Jane Pauley. It doesn't matter where we are, or what we have planned for the day, we always start our Sundays by watching Sunday Morning on CBS.
He will say it's because it is a family tradition that started with his grandma and his mom watching it on TV together back in the 80s. He might even say that it's because Sunday Morning is well known for its in-depth and high-quality reporting. But I see the twinkle in his eye every time we sit down on the sofa with our coffees in hand, as the trumpets herald and Jane Pauley appears on screen to cover the latest in news, politics, culture and the arts.
Regardless, it's become a comfortable routine for us, and a tradition I'm happy to continue.
