Broadcasters from various backgrounds and markets gathered July 27 – August 1 at Northwestern University in Evanston, Ill. NAB's Management Development Seminar for Television Executives (MDS) is designed for recently promoted and aspiring station and group executives. MDS is taught by the prestigious faculties of the Kellogg School of Management and the Medill School of Journalism and broadcast and related industry professionals. Five days of intensive, MBA-style instruction address media strategy, branding and marketing, diversity, partnerships, negotiation, finance, leadership and other relevant areas.
