Mike Brown is an Institute Engineer for Southwest Research Institute in San Antonio, TX. He has been a leader in the development and deployment of Intelligent Transportation Systems for twenty-seven years. Mike is an active member of the standards community including IEEE, SAE, and ISO where he currently serves as the Convenor for the Communications Working Group for ISO TC204 – Intelligent Transportation Systems. He leads several programs for SwRI in Intelligent Transportation Systems & Connected and Automated Vehicles. Mike is currently leading the Florida Department of Transportation V2X Data Exchange Platform Project and the ITS Applied Analytics program area at SwRI.
