NAB Announces Results of Executive Committee Board of Directors Elections

WASHINGTON, D.C. – NAB today announced the results of its Executive Committee Board of Directors elections at its recently completed NAB Board of Directors meeting. David Santrella, president of Broadcast Media, Salem Media Group, was re-elected Radio Board chair and Emily Barr, president and chief executive officer, Graham Media Group, was re-elected as NAB Television Board chair.

Bill Wilson, chief executive officer of Townsquare Media, Inc., was elected as Radio Board first vice chair and John Zimmer, president and owner of Zimmer Radio of Mid-Missouri, Inc., was elected second vice chair.

Alfred Liggins, chief executive officer, Urban One, Inc., was elected to the Radio Board's major group representative seat on the NAB Board's Executive Committee.

Ralph Oakley, president and chief executive officer, Quincy Media, Inc., was elected as TV Board first vice chair. Perry Sook, chairman, president and chief executive officer, Nexstar Media Group, Inc., was elected TV Board second vice chair and Pat LaPlatney, president and co-chief executive officer of Gray Television, was elected TV Board third vice chair.

Margaret Tobey, senior vice president of Regulatory Affairs at NBCUniversal, was appointed to the designated TV network seat on the NAB Board's Executive Committee.

Jordan Wertlieb, president, Hearst Television, Inc., is currently serving a two-year term as NAB Joint Board Chairman.

The Board elections took place at the NAB Board of Directors meeting, held virtually on June 9.
