Vice President of Engineering
Educational Media Foundation
Sam Wallington believes that broadcasting can make a real, life-changing difference in the world, and that the men and women that design, build, and make stations sing are true unsung heroes. He has used that belief and his love of developing people to lead and grow his team at Educational Media Foundation (EMF) as they have built a nationwide network of 900 signals. The first licensed UAV/drone pilot at EMF, Sam is building drone-based tower and antenna inspections into his team’s workflows. Sam tries to grow too, in knowledge and in service to the industry and the world through participation in the NAB Radio Technology Committee and with the SBE. In addition to broadcasting, his passions include God, his family, music, high-quality audio, live sound, bicycling, and riding his sport motorcycle—preferably knee down on a track.
